The creative architects at Harper Downie in London approached us to create a series of still images for a new mixed use development in Montenegro. The site would include a very rich and thoughtful landscape design so they required us to work directly with their landscape architects in order to create realistic CGI planting schemas that would be accurate to their vision. The deadline for the project was extremely tight - 3 weeks from start to finish.
The Hooper team really had to get back to grass roots on this job as the clients wanted to emphasise the 'green' beauty of the project and show their architecture against rich and varied mediterranean flowers and foliage. We worked alongside the landscape architect to create planting guidelines and created CGI plants and trees that we could scatter realistically around the site. We also made use of a large library of flower and plant photography to weave into the final images in post.
