One Circular Key
In 2016 Wanda acquired a landmark property right on the waters edge in Sydney Harbour - the famous Goldsmiths House site. Hooper had actually previously created a brand and movie for the same site that helped the previous owners, Blackstone, sell the asset for a record value.
Wanda's vision was to create two new flagship towers that would re-define the Sydney Skyline - they planned to build a 7* Wanda Vista Hotel and a super prime residential tower that would set new records for luxury and price point.
Wanda asked Hooper to work alongside Brash to deliver a fill 360 proposition.
Wanda's scope was huge. They wanted everything from Brand strategy, naming, creative, websites, marketing collateral, hoarding designs, film, CGI and even concepts, customer journey and space designs for their high end marketing suite.
One of the key elements was a luxury brand film that could be used at launch to introduce the world to the project - and of course it needed to scream luxury and set the tone that this was no ordinary development.
Wanda's savy marketing team recognised the importance of doing something stylish and different. They approached the film as if it was a high end automotive TVC and insisted on the finest wardrobe, styling and props, a licensed soundtrack by the famous singer-songwriter Lorde, and of course a world class director. Hooper teamed up with the famous Australian fashion photographer and film maker Nick Leary to create a script and film concept that not only showcased the initial concepts for the architecture and interiors but also set a super prime tone for the Brand.
Hooper & Nick Leary undertook a number of live action, aerial and green screen shoots in and around Sydney with all CG and composting done out of our London office.
The final film has bags of attitude and edge and is testament to the teams desire to create something that stands out in the marketplace.
